Thanks so much for writing! The knitnotwar 1,0o0 project that I coordinated has ended, but you are welcome to knit cranes if you would like, the PDF for the pattern is on the homepage.
I am hoping to begin another community based knit project soon, if you would like more information on it, I can certainly email you!
